Wow! What a busy start of this New Year. This past year was a year of trying to decide if I was going to keep on going with my photography business. My husband kept on encouraging me to keep on. I prayed many prayers and made some decisions. And so, here I am keeping on……… :) AND I have a Facebook page now too……Josie Jaggers Photography. Kelowna’s portrait photograher ~ I love all birds but definitely have a special love for Mallard ducks!! When I was a young teenager my Dad found a baby duck without her mom, and brought it home for me to see. I then got the amazing privilege of raising her until she was big. We weren’t sure if she would survive or even know when to fly south without a family to teach her how. One day, I went to feed and water her and she was just gone! I was so sad thinking that maybe a coyote or raccon got her. But amazingly enough that spring she showed up in our yard, bringing her mate with her. Her and her mate have come back every year to the creek that runs near by. I am always so amazed how God has made everything work in such perfect order! He is the master designer! These next photos are of 2 male mallard ducks who followed my son, friend and I around asking for food. My son was so thrilled!!

Kelowna Photograher – I love flowers and butterflies but just don’t have the same time as I used to have to go out and capture them. With this beautiful Monarch butterfly and Indian Paint Brush I was in the right spot at the right time. I love when this happens :)
